ABOUT BEAUX ARTS CONSERVATION
Jamie Rigsby, PAIC, is the owner and Senior Conservator of Beaux Arts Conservation. She is an Objects Conservator and Museum Professional with more than 25 years of experience. Jamie was born in Shreveport, and her first museum job was at The Meadows Museum of Art at Centenary College where she discovered her love of working with artifacts. Though she began her college career at LSU-S, she graduated with a B.A. in Art History from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.A. in Conservation Studies from West Dean College of Arts and Conservation in the UK. Jamie has worked for museums from Virginia to Colorado, and has had the pleasure of working on projects around the world, including the installation of a large-scale reproduction of The Wedding Feast at Cana by Paolo Veronese in the refectory of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, Italy, and archaeological excavations at the Palace of Nestor in Greece. Jamie is passionate about preservation and enjoys helping museums and individuals care for their belongings.
